The Latest Updates for the Apple iOS 7 Software and New Apps to Download

A Marketing article written by Elle Meech
The launch of the latest Apple iOS 7 operating system is now available for download, after seeing many updates from the previous iOS 6. The new system contains a new framework with even more depth and clarity. There are a bunch of new features such as brighter colours and better capabilities for multitasking.
The launch of the new iOS 7 has seen many of the larger Apple App Store companies refresh and update their apps accordingly to stay up with the latest software. A bonus is that you don't need to run out to the store to buy a new iPhone or iPad to benefit from the latest updates.

Refreshed Apps

Major social media companies, among others, are right behind Apple in their latest iOS 7 software release. Many of the apps found in iTunes have been redesigned in terms of their interface and updates offer additional new features that will fit in with the new operating system.
Here are a few of the new refreshed apps:
  • Twitter
  • Amazon Kindle
  • Evernote
  • Shazam
  • Flipboard
  • eBay
  • TED
  • Facebook
  • Pandora
  • Yahoo Weather
All of these apps have since improved on their navigation and added additional features that add to the user's experience. An example of a new feature on the Twitter app is that you can now discover music that is currently trending on the iTunes Radio music station by using the hash tag #music.

How to Get the New iOS 7

The latest iOS 7 will only run on iPhone 4 and later devices along with the iPad 2, retina display iPad and the Fifth Generation iPod touch. The process is simple. You may have already updated previous software and this time it's no different. Simply visit your setting on your iPhone or iPad and click Settings > General > Software Updates and that is it, your new iOS 7 software should now be installing.
The software update does use power, Internet and space so make sure you have a full battery or are plugged in on WiFi and not mobile data, as it could use up your data allocated by your provider. You are also able to perform the update on iTunes by plugging in the device and checking for updates.
